What is

Displacement?

Displacement Ventilation is an energy efficient method of air delivery where air is supplied low in a wall or in a floor instead of the ceiling. This system takes advantage of warming air’s natural tendency to rise. As the warming air rises, it removes contaminants and heat, which substantially improves air quality and occupant comfort.

In addition to better air quality, displacement systems provide many benefits compared to traditional systems, including:

  • low operating costs
  • little to no maintenance
  • reduced noise levels
  • near limitless custom design and architectural integration possibilities
